Frequently Asked Questions °❀.࿔

Processing Times.
If you have ordered a print, my processing times are specific to each print- whether customised or not. I would rather ship in bulk- so perhaps once or twice a week depending on order volumes. If I run into any issues, I will get on it straight away & contact you if necessary. Please don't panic, you are in safe hands.
-
where do you work?
My current set-up is a small home office- covered in strawberries! Due to the nature of my work, I often get a helping paw. If you find some fluff on your item, my helpers are more than likely to blame. Every product that I ship personally is inspected for fluff, but if you happen to have some cat DNA, all I can do is apologise!
-
How are prints shipped?
All A4/A5 prints are shipped in DO NOT BEND packaging. I, obviously, will not bend your print, and if it is damaged upon arrival I would be open to discussing the next steps to get everything perfect for you. I try to ship orders together, but usually, it's as soon as it's done! I am relatively local to multiple shipping couriers (their respective drop-off points) - so posting multiple destination orders isn't a hassle <3

Why primarily thrifted shoes?
It's more sustainable. I think in my first year, I have had 3 orders for brand new shoes- which is incredible! I hope it stays that way- and I do like a good Vinted surf.
-
Can you be found at art markets?
I can, and I hope so more often in the future! I've had one very successful market so far! For me, 2026 is the year I really want to expand and make this a proper liveable income- so doing markets and events would be amazing!
-
How long have you studied art?
It's been my passion my entire life. I had a piece of artwork shown in a local gallery when I was little- and continued on to GCSE, A-Level, and Foundation art- receiving stellar grades across the board.
-
Why don't you ship to the EU?
I simply cannot afford an EU Responsible Person, especially not with the small volume of orders I receive to the EU. I am, however, happy to discuss digital versions of your desired print, both standard and custom.
-
Where have the Converse gone?
Unfortunately, I don't have plans to continue making the custom shoes- of any kind. I began to find it monotonous and wanted to branch out in to something different- something I could market at craft fairs. If you'd like to see me at a market- keep tabs on my social medias for where I'm off to next!
-
How to contact you?
I am available to be contacted on social media, through DMs, or you can email me at figtreebyolive@gmail.com. I am most active on Instagram & TikTok.

Care.
If you wear them in really bad weather, they will- or could- get ruined. I have sealed them, and the paint is permanent once it touches the fabric, so cleaning them would only be around the rubber sole with a baby wipe or a smidge of soap.
-
Size.
Please only write your UK size. If you write your size in any other variant, without acknowledging or disclosing where it comes from (i.e, writing 7, when you mean a US 7, for example) and I see this, and order a UK 7, that is completely on you. It is your responsibility to type out the correct, UK size.

Are they always going to be thrifted?
As often as they can be. I do not want to massively contribute to the state of the world's ecosystem destruction by a large amount.
